Hi Second Warehouse users!

As I write this, it’s been just over 6 months since we launched Second Warehouse, and first of all, I want to say an enormous “thank you!” to the hundreds of companies who have already registered with us. Thanks to all of you who have entered gear into your Second Warehouse inventories, thanks to all of you who have been using Second Warehouse to rent and supply equipment, and thanks also to the thousands of people who now follow us on Facebook.

We have been humbled by the 100% positive response to what we are trying to create here and it’s clear that the Pro AV industry sees the need for a service such as Second Warehouse.

But now it’s time to crank it up a notch!

It has always been our mission at Second Warehouse to bring never before seen possibilities to the Pro AV rental industry, and now, with a solid user base behind us, it’s time to do just that.

You may have noticed that following a pretty noisy start, things have been a bit quiet around Second Warehouse lately. Well, there’s a reason for that.

We have been listening to you, and have taken your comments very seriously. As a result, we have spent the past couple of months working on bringing some major innovations and improvements to the service, making everything a bit more intuitive.

The result is the new Second Warehouse, which we are launching today.

This release is a huge update which introduces completely new money-making, time-saving, and even “arse-saving” features, the likes of which haven’t been seen in the Pro AV industry before.

Time saving! Now when you need to rent in gear, all you have to do is list what you need, enter the dates when you need it and hit the new black search button – that’s it!

Our new intelligent Gear Finder system will immediately get to work finding potential suppliers for you. Before you can say “one, two, testing…” you’ll receive a list of the companies we have contacted on your behalf. All you have to do is sit back and wait for the quotes to come in.

Rest assured that if you set your regular rental partners as Preferred users, they will be the first companies we contact.

Did I say “arse-saving”?!

We regularly see companies on Second Warehouse in “panic mode”, desperately trying to find that last-minute piece of gear for a gig the next day.

Next time you find yourself in this situation, simply tell Second Warehouse what you need and hit the red SOS button. Gear Finder will match what you need with potential suppliers in the area, and send an urgent SMS and email to all of them, asking them to get back to you within 12 hours to help you out.

Now let’s talk about money-making!

Second Warehouse is all about helping Pro AV rental companies earn more money. Until now, this has been by helping them to rent out their idle equipment. But now, for the first time ever, the introduction of our revolutionary CashBack scheme means that Pro AV rental companies will also earn money when they rent equipment IN!
